One of the earlier Matrox PCI-cards. It was aimed for Windows and specifically several CAD applications. I've read it could to hardware gouraud shading and Z-buffering. I haven't tested these specific applications in Windows yet, however, I did run DOS-benchmarks. For VGA/SVGA DOS-applications this is not the card you want to have.

Performance in Doom is sub-par; it falls in budget ISA-card territory. The benchmarks that use VESA (SVGABench, X-Vesa) don't run due the lack of VESA support. > Read more
